- Manage the stores and Goods Inwards Team day to day to ensure Business needs are met
- Ensure the controls are put in place to maintain stock Accuracy greater than 99 %
- Ensure the Correct standards are put into place to ensure management/movement/issuing of Stock is controlled, identifiable, traceable and auditable.
- Ensure Claverham Stock is stored safely and correctly, Shelf life management is in place and adhered too. Identification of all stock is done correctly and goods are issued from Sap properly.
- Day to Day Management of Goods Receipt Inspection with close communication with the supply Chain requirements.
- Achieving target times for clearance of defect free goods to stores
- Achieving Kitting times to support Schedule Adherence.
- Manage the Stores and GI budget (4300) to ensure we achieve or Better plan
• Provide relevant and accurate data on stock levels, ensuring Good Control of Inventory
• Take responsibility and make decisions regarding all areas of stock control
• Maintain continuous stock checking activity (cycle counting) and investigation of errors on time to the plan on the intranet.
• Reduce non-value added tasks within the Stores
• Maintain and improve good working practices to keep the stores upto date with current Industry storage methods.
• Manage MoD stock control requirements and audit criteria, host the MOD Audits annually to ensure we achieve the required GFA Audit standards
• Health and Safety issues within area
• ACE and 5s control of Stores, Goods In and Corridor areas
• All employees shall comply with EH&S Policy, report unsafe practices or conditions to supervision for prompt resolution, attend scheduled EH&S training programs, actively support the meeting of EH&S targets and plans, and recommend improved EH&S practices wherever possible. |
