Primary Flight Control Actuators for military aircraft have been the core business for Claverham for over 50 years. Rudder, Aileron and Elevator actuation plus their deriviatives are among the most flight critical components of aircraft, and are subject to the most rigourous performance and availability requirement in military combat aircraft. Although military markets remain core to Claverham, we are once again expanding our involvement in commercial applications.

A vital area of future development will be the application of more electric technologies to both manned and unmanned vehicles. Experimental programmes (e.g. HEAT and TIMES) are pioneering in this area.
